One of his standout moments was his second goal against Zambia at the 2015 U-17 African Championship in Niger 2014. He attributed this success to his training under Coach Amuneke, focusing on “accuracy first, before power.” Osimhen was one of the top goal scorers at the Niger 2015 tournament, netting four goals in six matches.
