Heidi Giokos (born December 23) is a Greek-South African journalist and broadcaster. She works at eNCA as a reporter and news anchor. She trended in 2022 after a video of her preparing sorghum circulated online.
The broadcaster is a 2019 Nat Nakasa Award nominee, an IMF Fellow, and won the Sanlam Financial Journalism award. Her skills include journalism, media relations, radio, television, and radio production.

Heidi Giokos was born on December 23 in Greece into a family with a love for Journalism and broadcast. She has two siblings, Eleni Giokos and Anthi Giokos. Her brother is a blogger, while her sister is a correspondent for the American news outlet CNN.

Giokos is a media and communication professional. She holds an Honors Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Johannesburg.
Career
With many years of experience as a business reporter, Heidi has worked in the broadcast industry for many years. She was a news anchor for the e.tv-owned news broadcaster eNews Channel Africa (eNCA) for over six years.
Heidi has worked as a business correspondent for the channel since February 2017. She is a fellow of the International Monetary Fund Fellow (IMF).
In December 2016, she became a multimedia reporter for The Star News. She worked as a labor reporter for Independent Newspapers the same year.
For a year, the broadcaster was a reporter for Caxton Local Newspapers (2015 – 2016). She was one of the journalists for the North Eastern Tribune Newspaper.
Heidi worked as a news reader for Ujfm from June 2010 to February 2015. She interned at CNBC Africa from August 2011 to November 2013.

Heidi Giokos is in a relationship with Lindokuhle Xulu. To express his love for the broadcaster, he posted a heartfelt birthday wishes for her. She visits the gym to keep fit and has travelled to places within and outside South Africa. She was in Washington D. C. in April 2023.
