In April 2024, just like March, Hollywood lost many famous and well-known actresses. Actresses like Patti Astor and Lori and George Schappell bid us farewell. This month, the entertainment industry mourned the loss of these outstanding women.

From seasoned veterans to newcomers, their departure created a significant void in films and television series. Let us take a minute to recognize and honor these remarkable ladies and the contributions they made to the entertainment industry.

Patti Astor (1950-2024)

Patricia Titchener, often known as Patti Astor, was an American entertainer. She appeared in New York City underground films and was involved in the East Village art scene. She also helped popularize hip hop. Astor founded Fun Gallery, an art gallery. Later, she relocated to Hollywood, Los Angeles, where she appeared in films like as “Get Tux’d” with Ice-T and “Assault of the Killer Bimbos,” which People magazine deemed “Trash Pick of the Week.” She was 74 years old when she died on April 9, 2024, in Hermosa Beach, California.

Lori and George Schappell (1961-2024)

Lori and George Schappell were born as twins, sharing the same body. George was a vocalist who sang country tunes. They were the oldest living twins until 2020. According to Guinness World Records, George became a male, making them the first twins to be linked yet identify as different genders.

Lori and George stayed in a small house with two rooms, each having their own private space. They had some pets. Lori was very good at bowling and won many prizes. They respected each other’s privacy, giving space for work, fun, and relationships. Lori had a few boyfriends and was going to get married, but sadly, her fiancé died in a car accident. For their 50th birthday, they went to London for a special celebration.

Lori and George Schappell passed away at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital on April 7, 2024, when they were 62 years old.

Barbarao (1941-2024)

Barbarao was an American actress who was born in December 1941 in Dayton, Ohio, USA. She was famous for acting in movies like Maangamizi: The Ancient One (2001), The Quest (1976), and Bush Mama (1979). She passed away on April 16, 2024, in Dayton, Ohio, USA.

Sarnell Ogus (1927-2024)

Sarnell Ogus was an American actress who was born on February 1, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. She acted in movies, with one called Death by Invitation (1971). She passed away on April 2, 2024, in New York City, USA.

Beverly LaHaye (1929-2024)

Beverly Jean Ratcliffe, also known as Beverly LaHaye, an actress who was born on April 30, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan, USA. She was married to Tim LaHaye. She passed away on April 14, 2024, in El Cajon, California, USA.

Ayoka (1989-2024)

Ayoka was an actress who was born on 25th September, 1989. She acted in a movie called Ayoka: Elevate in 2021. Sadly, she passed away on 8th April, 2024 in Redondo Beach, California, USA.
