Early Life
Andy Maqondwana was born on 4 August in Eastern Cape, South Africa. She has had an affinity for radio and always knew from the beginning that she would be behind the mic someday.
The broadcaster now works at a prominent commercial radio station in South Africa – Kaya 959.
Transitioning from a community radio station to a commercial radio station was smooth for Andy because she knew the basics.

Andy joined the radio industry as a presenter and honed her skills at Stellenbosch-based station MFM 92.6.
In 2015, she became an overnight presenter at Kfm 94.5. Eventually, she began presenting late nights and then on the Sunday Weekend Breakfast show.
Feel Good with Andy Maqondwana is her weekday midday show where she engages listeners. Weekend listeners also get to stay tuned to her show Reloaded with Andy from 15:00 to 18:00.
The radio presenter joined the media company Primedia Broadcasting in May 2016. After working with them for almost three years, she left in March 2021.
